]]>To say we’re excited about this incredibly rare Scadoxus is a total understateme! A native of South Africa, this newly discovered variety is very tough to find, as it naturally grows in just two remote locations. The dramatic blooms are comprised of numerous broad, greenish-white bracts and hundreds of narrow, erect white florets that, when mature, flaunt bright orange or yellow anthers.
The flowers effortlessly attract butterflies and hummingbirds and give way to seed-bearing fruit for songbirds later in the season. As carefree, easy to grow, and drought-tolerant as other varieties, this white-flowering wonder is in extremely limited quantities, so you’d be wise to claim yours n!
